Were you able to successfully grow it?
Yes, it comes with the Herb Garden seed kit as well as can be custom ordered.
Be warned, Dill will outgrow nearly every other herb (even basil) and when it reaches less than a foot high its root system will start to choke out neighbors. You will have to cut back extensively (daily) to prevent this, but at that point it may be best to transplatt it.
Cultivation and Care[]
- Uses: leaves, fresh and dried, and seeds in soups, stews and sauces; fish and egg recipes; pickles, salads, and vegetables
- Harvest: Save both seeds and leaves. Pick leaves continually. Harvest as seed starts to ripen.; for drying, place leaves on a wire rack in a cool, shady place; when seeds are mature, dry the flower heads in the sun, then shake out the seeds and store in an airtight jar. Leaves can be frozen for later use.
